I have travelled all over the world, and I have seen amazing places. I have also seen poverty and hunger, and it has made me realise that I want to help others when I grow up. In an interview with my friend Molly, she also mentioned that she wants to help children in Thailand when she is older.
Wind has always been my friend. On hot days it swoops in and cools me down, which makes the other people in my family unhappy because they love the heat; when I am kite surfing it usually is there to hold my kit up in the air, which helps me to move around.
My family and I have been traveling through the United States and Europe for the past six years. Through these travels, we have met all kinds of unique and interesting people. When I was eight years old, I met Zoe Evans. We became instant friends and she is one of the coolest people I know. She has become someone I can look up to, and I am truly inspired by her!

There are a zillion job choices out there. Out of all the possibilities, I’ve lately started to think about what careers might interest me, and which ones would allow me to travel (I love to travel).
I love travel writing - that sense of place, of being somewhere else, even if I'm curled up in a comfy chair with a steaming mug of tea. But I'm not always in the mood for guidebooks. So I read The Best Travel Writing each year, and dig around where I may for good writing - sometimes successfully, more often, not.
