The Ajijic Tianguis (the market in Ajijic, Mexico) is a popular place for foreigners to go to buy great fresh produce and colorful and artistic pottery and paintings.
Maui is like an endless summer. Three weeks living in Hawaii should be fabulous. My living room view has a perfect view of the ocean so I can see all the para-surfers going along the water. All the locals here are very chilled out and relaxed like they don’t have a care in the world. I woke up early and looked out my window to see people at seven am already para-surfing.

Teaching, in any sense of the profession, is not all apples and chocolate. It’s hard work. It doesn’t matter what subject or age you teach, or which country you teach in, it’s inevitable that your job will have negatives to go along with the positives.
Sometimes you run across an artist and just love their view of the world. Such is the case with artist Alyssa Parsons. Once discovered, I couldn't get enough of her art! It's playful, with a touch of humor that you don't often see, in art. She also has a serious side, with beautiful landscapes and detailed portraits.
