Wandering Educators note:

We're now on our third installment of Little Passports, a subscription-based monthly mailing that revolutionizes the way children are inspired by, and learn about, other countries and cultures.
Delightfully different, a Little Passports subscription surprises children each month, inspiring them to become global citizens. We were lucky enough to interview Amy Kanter about Little Passports. And, you can read my review of the Second Month - BRAZIL - here.

The next Little Passports after Brazil was Japan! I was very interested in Japan because my mom lived there and we have lots of Japanese things, and eat lots of Japanese food. I liked sam and Sofia's adventures in Japan - and in the kit were the coolest things. A sushi eraser! Origami Paper! and fun paper and online activities.

I liked doing the origami, and we've gotten more origami books from the library.

It was fun reading of Sam and Sofia, and the things that they did in Japan. Online, you could do several fun activities - you could make your own wish, and also learn about Japan, and about Sushi.

I wish that there was more to learn - this is fun! I look forward to it each month.
