One of the most difficult things to arrange when you are disabled is travel.  However, it doesn't have to be this way. There are a plethora of resources out there for travelers with disabilities.  One of my favorite resources is  Mobility International USA.  Their goal is "empowering people with disabilities around the world to achieve their human rights through international exchange and international development."

MIUSA is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 by Susan Sygall and Barbara Williams.

MIUSA has four brances of their organization to provide services for people with disabilities -

The National Clearinghouse on DIsability and Exchange (NCDE)
International Development and Disability
International Exchange Programs
Women, Disability and Development
