Commuting in Viang-Vieng, Laos

I spent the afternoon exploring the local neighborhoods of Viang Vieng Laos and came across these young monks 'commuting'.  The little town lie between Vientiane and Luang Prabang, making it an excellent overnight stop.  The town was centered around backpackers, so you had to dig quite deep to get to the 'real' village.  I found it across the river; where kids played and father's worked; a wonderful place for a photowalk.

A pair of bloomers with lace ruffles catches the eye of Monika Knutsson as she strolls by a busy stall at a Brocante in Paris. Liam Hughes waits in the rain for the tide to roll out in County Waterford, Ireland in hopes of discovering another shard from a 19th Century plate.
