Blogs are everywhere. You probably read them to stay up-to-date on news and world happenings, to discover new trends, and even for household tips and tricks. Blogs in a general sense are great because there are so many to choose from and they provide readers with unique resources and information in a brief, easily digestible format.
It can be a bit confusing figuring out what is and isn’t ‘supposed’ to be a wonder of the world. It seems there’s a new list all the time, detailing the ancient wonders, the new wonders, the natural wonders, the underwater wonders…there’s even a list for the 7 wonders of the solar system!
Whether you visit Kuşadası as part of a trip to history-rich Ephesus (Efes), take the ferry in from Samos, Greece, from visiting the house of the Virgin Mary, from exploring Sirince, or as a destination in itself, there’s much to see and do. Quite possibly, volunteering while traveling is the most rewarding way to experience a destination. It’s an immersion into the local culture with a lasting social impact. I first noticed the incredibly beautiful art of my friend Yuliya Talinovsky on my facebook feed, as she was in Newfoundland for a bit with her family, and I LOVE those row houses in St. John's. It's amazing how once something is on your radar, how you keep seeing it. Her paintings kept popping up, and I kept being so very happy to see them. Guess what? Her kids are also extremely talented - I'm so happy that this love of art and painting is growing in this world.
