It is quite difficult to find two more dramatically contrasting cities within the same country than Berlin and Munich. Aside from both being large ‘German’ cities that have previously hosted the Summer Olympic Games, there isn’t much else they have in common. The capital of Prussia and the capital of Bavaria have different historical paths, different demographics, different economies, different politics, different geographies, different dialects, different beer; the list goes on and on.
This is an awesome book that I would like to share. It's called This Child, Every Child: A book about the world's children, by David J. Smith, illustrated by Shelagh Armstrong. It shows kids' stories and how they are different, around the world. Each story makes you want to learn more about other kids, and what their lives are like, what culture they are.
Did you know that every airplane has an identifying number on it? The tail number tells you where it is registered, and the identification of the plane itself. You can look these up online. Every country has their own numbers. Every airplane that flies - including private planes, experimentals, and ultralights - have a tail number.
