One of the best sites I've seen for inspiration is Voyage.tv. They've got incredible videos and focus on several locations. My favorites are the videos with a food slant - markets, restaurants, and more. We were lucky enough to sit down and chat with Ariane Marder of Voyage.tv, for a behind the scenes look att the site. Overhead Light - Cairo, Egypt
I entered the Muhammad Ali Mosque perched high above Cairo and was immediately struck by the lighting of the grand room. The room dwarfed us yet the soft lighting brought it all together into an intimate moment. I sat on the floor just watching people enter the room in awe; and of course taking the moment to try to capture the vastness of the mosque in photography. The key is to change your perspective. By sitting on the floor I was able to get a unique photography perspective.
