6 Tips For Using a Cover Letter Template For Your Job Applications

Most people look like they don’t have confidence...in their cover letters. They use only resume letters, and leave the rest unsent. They don’t think if the hiring managers ever read them. Take your time to write your cover letter well, especially if they are for education jobs. You never know the effects that the cover letter can have on HR. You may find yourself landing a good job.

History Comes Alive at the Hotel Colorado

On September 15, Glenwood Springs will be celebrating the 125th anniversary of one of its landmarks, the Hotel Colorado. The town will come together by sponsoring a morning parade, a food court and beer garden, kid friendly activities, and historical tours. The local Ute tribe will be offering a morning blessing and an afternoon presentation. It will be a gala event for a hotel that opened its doors in 1893.

Artist of the Month: Bridget Fox

I feel so lucky to live in Kalamazoo. This town is rife with creativity! Such is the case with our featured artist this month, Bridget Fox. She's just lovely in person, and her art? Well, it brings such joy. I especially love her paintings of water - they call to me, and soothe the soul.

Finding the perfect travel agent

While some people find it okay to make their own travel arrangements, others find it easier to find a good travel agent to do everything for them. Good travel agents are not that easy to come by. However, there are honest travel agencies that will make sure you get the most out of your trip. A good travel agent will do for you more things than you can do by yourself. They know the right people because of being in the business for long and they can get you the best deal for your travels. Below are guidelines to note when choosing a travel agent:

Want to earn money while traveling the world?

Want to earn money while traveling the world? Trading stocks online is one of the easiest ways to start making a dent in your investment portfolio. All you need to do if you want to start trading stocks online is fill out an application form and create a brokerage account that you can fill with money to spend on stocks and shares. Often, when people start trading online for the first time, they prefer to use a stock broker to help them manage and track their investments. This can be helpful for you too, but you may prefer to examine the marketplace yourself.

Why You Should Not Miss The Glamorous Dhow Cruise Tour in Dubai

Dubai is a place where you can experience the complete and consummate mix of history, tradition, and modernism. A perfect example of this blend is the Dubai Dhow Cruise. Historically speaking, a Dhow is a boat, made of wood, which was used by the old fishing industry of Dubai. Gradually, as the city moved toward a modern way of living, Dhows ceased to exist - and as of now, the demand for dhows has gone down and been replaced by modern vessels.

"Josh Recommends" Gypsy’s Mama Rose ‘Sings Out’ in Winter Garden By Josh Garrick

I’ve often commented on the fact that having theme parks as our largest local employers adds to our local “magic” by allowing for greater ORLANDO to present performing arts events with Broadway quality cast-members and support teams. If you question the validity of that point, you have until September 16 to see the Garden Theatre’s (Winter Garden) presentation of the classic 1959 musical GYPSY as proof positive of the magnificent gifts presented to Central Florida by the performers and directors whose “day-job” is acting a role at a theme park.
