Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities in the world, and as someone who has traveled to 14 countries (and counting!), I can really say that with gusto! From living in different cities like Miami, Florida; Charleston, South Carolina; Kalamazoo, Michigan; and Rome, Italy, I can say that I have a sincere appreciation for the Iron City that I never had before.

Haley Otman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Spanish from Grand Valley State University, and spent a semester studying at the Universidad de Granada in Granada, Spain through API (Academic Programs International).

During the summer of 2011, I studied abroad for six weeks in London at the University of Westminster with Academics Programs International. I graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I currently work as a marketing analyst for a small company in central Texas. I am also pursuing my MBA.

My name is Austin Conte and I am currently a graduating senior at the College of Charleston, SC. I am API alumni and I am now also an API Campus Advocate for the College of Charleston. I am a International Business Major with a concentration in Marketing and Management accompanied with a Spanish Minor and Economics Minor.

How do you get to know a place? By being IN it. Not by rushing by, seeing the main attractions, and then zipping off to the next place.

Lash is an expat American who's been traveling the world solo since 1998. She loves immersing herself in nature, culture and the arts of countries she visits.

Prior to that, Lash lived in Kyoto, Japan from 1991-1997 teaching English in order to save money to travel the world.
