If your family includes history buffs, this is the ONE thing you need to make time for when you visit Fredericton, New Brunswick - a town that we just love.
Twice a day in the summer, there is a changing of the guard.
Miami - and family travel? You may think that Miami is not a family destination. Things couldn’t be further from the truth. Miami has something for everyone - including families with kids. You've got beaches galore, great food, art, culture, and a fun vibe. Here are a few activities your family will enjoy:
Children bring many changes to your life. You have much less time for yourself, but you have the joy of teaching and learning from a young life. You may get less sleep, but you get to tuck in a tiny, growing person every night. You may not get to play Frisbee golf with your buddies, but you get to coach your child in Little League.
Ireland - there's a reason why this small island nation is on everyone's travel list. It's gorgeously green, full of history and art and culture, and boasts world-renowned drink (Guinness, looking at you!) and delicious food. There's also the Irish people, known for their hospitality and kindness.
DO research pet travel requirements for the country or countries you are visiting
A simple Google search will connect you with government sites that offer pet immigration information. Make sure you read through carefully. Some require vaccinations many months before travel; some require parasite testing 24 - 48 hours before your visit.
Ever since I was young, I’ve done a lot of traveling through the United States and Latin America. The places I’ve been include Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the east coast of the US. But one place that has really stuck with me and inspired me is Sanibel Sea School, in Sanibel, Florida. I started attending occasional classes while I was at my grandparents’ house there when I was five years old.
Eleven months ago, my family sold everything and left the US to travel the world, with no plan to return. Since then, we’ve visited ten countries on three continents, walked hundreds of kilometers through countrysides and cities alike, taken countless trains and planes, met amazing people, and made lifelong family memories.
