The other day, my travels took me to the West Coast of Canada’s rainforest. I went to college in Victoria, the Capital of British Columbia, a number of years ago and return fairly often to visit friends, and my Father, who call the region home.
Before studying abroad in Amman, Jordan in the fall of 2012, my last moments in the United States were spent at the McDonald’s in the Pittsburgh International Airport. Now I am not a big fast food person, but I felt like I needed to absorb as much American culture as I could before leaving the country.
The New Forest is one of Britain’s treasures – a National Park located mostly in the county of Hampshire (with a little bit in Wiltshire and Dorset). You may remember it was created in 1079 by William the Conqueror, for his deer hunting pleasure.
